Meet the MVI Softball Booster Club Board of Directors

The MVI Softball Booster Club is guided by a board of directors who bring a deep well of experience, commitment, and passion for both the game of softball and the success of our athletes. Collectively, this group has decades of involvement in and experience with youth organizations, high school boosters, and cooperative athletic programs. Many have served in leadership roles in both Mounds View and Irondale communities, and have firsthand experience supporting athletes on

co-op teams—knowledge that is invaluable as we unite our two schools into one strong program. Above all, they share a commitment to fostering unity, opportunity, and growth for every athlete who wears the MVI jersey.

The MVI Softball Booster Club exists as a non-profit, volunteer organization of parents and guardians dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and advancing the cooperative high school softball program serving Mounds View Public School District 621 student-athletes.

The Club’s purpose is to:

  • Promote the benefits of participation in high school softball for student-athletes within the Mounds View Public School District 621.

  • Provide financial assistance and volunteer support to enhance the softball program.

  • Organize team-building, fundraising, and community events.

  • Work collaboratively with the head coach (head coaching staff), who serves as the director of the softball program, respecting their leadership and vision.

  • Operate within the framework, policies, and rules of the Mounds View and Irondale Activities Departments, and the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).

  • Ensure transparency, inclusivity, and continuity through a clear organizational structure that encourages broad participation and smooth transitions from year to year.

The Club shall not seek to influence or direct the technical activities or policies of school administrators or officials responsible for conducting the athletic programs. Instead, it shall function as a supportive partner, aligned with the best practices and philosophies of both schools.
